Skills:
Reports to: Consulting Engineering Manager
Summary: The primary focus will be on mechanical equipment reliability and the inspection and assessment of tanks, vessels, piping components.
•Performs field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance

•Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.

•Performs field inspections or rotating equipment installations, operating conditions, repair/maintenance and failure history.

•Provides recommendations for alterations to rotating equipment installations and other components.

•1 - 10 years’ experience in mechanical reliability, tank/vessel/piping inspections, or design and MI program management.

•Plant engineering experience

•Industrial inspection, operations, and maintenance experience

•Process improvement experience

•Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised

•Strong organizational skills

•Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results

•Experience with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD

•Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment

Travel Requirement: 20- 50% to customer sites

Qualification Requirements:
•1 to 10 years of mechanical reliability experience – tanks /vessels/piping inspections, or design and MI program management
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD
•Engineer in Training ( EIT) , Fundamentals of Engineering ( FE) and /or desired to acquire Professional Engineer (PE)
•Familiarity with API, ASME, NACE, NBIC a plus


Education Requirements:
•BS in Engineering (or engineering technology) required
