We are currently accepting resumes for a Projects NDE
Level II:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Projects NDE Level II will be
performing follow-up RT and/or UT inspection of areas
identified by either the CUI Detection group for CUI or
from ILI finds.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Perform required NDE of inspections areas as directed
by the Mistras Inspector or Mistras Crew Lead.
• Identify inspection locations in accordance with
written procedures.
• Document inspection findings appropriately for the
given method.
• Create UT Sketches for documenting locations and
inspection results and submit to Mistras Inspector or
Mistras Crew Lead
• Complete assigned inspections in a timely manner to
ensure compliance with schedule.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions/damage to
supervisor and/or MTE.
• Perform all duties in accordance with applicable
Mistras and clients safety requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• NDE Level II Certification in UTT (Longitudinal Wave
w/Scope, 80hrs Classroom and 840+ documented OJT hrs.)
• NDE Level II Certification in RT (acquisition and
interpretation)
• NDE Level II Certification in VT
• Radiographer in Radiation Safety Program
• Preference given to those holding an API 570
certification, limited RT certification, full RT II
unlimited certification, full UT II unlimited
certification, MT, PT, rope access certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis
on Excel
• Must be a self-starter, with strong work ethic.
• Able to secure homeland security clearance for
Trustworthy and Reliable (T&R).
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or
equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.

We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a
minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position
with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors.
You are responsible for travel costs to and from
Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK. This job description
