A long time manufacturer of power train components
continues to grow and expand. Due to the growth of the
company, this successful manufacturer is hiring another
Process Engineer. This company offers excellent benefits
and a good work environment. They have many long term
employees with more than 20 years with the company. The
company has a reputation of internal promotion and
stability. This is a successful well-managed company
with many valued employees. They have around 200
employees and continue to hire. The company has Blue
Cross Health Insurance, dental, life, long/short term
disability, 401K with a .50 match up to 6%, 10 paid
holidays and minimum of 2 weeks of vacation. This
company continues to invest in new equipment, technology,
automation and software.

Interested candidates should know feeds & speeds, cutting
tool geometry and machining attachments for multi-
spindled screw machines. Past experience working with
Acme, New Britain, Conematic, Davenport, Gildemeister,
Schutte, Euroturn, Tornos and/or Index screw machines is
needed.

We are searching for a Process Engineer to support
production machining operation. This involves multiple
spindle automatic screw machines, rotary transfer
equipment, CNC and secondary machining equipment. The
Process Engineer will need past experience processing
screw machines. Our client will consider both candidates
who came up the ranks or degreed engineers and offer a
generous salary based on experience. The Process
Engineer will interact with sales and the cost estimating
engineer to discuss the process. This Engineer will
select the proper machine, select cams, gears, collets,
tool holders, cutting tools and calculate cycle times.
The Process Engineer will design special forms, step
drills, recess, reaming, insert and combination tooling
to optimize the process. Past experience working with
cutting tool vendors is needed. Knowledge of using cad
software such as Autocad or Solidworks is preferred. The
process Engineer will also design tool layouts and
process drawings. Experience documenting set up sheets,
tool lists and work instructions is preferred.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 3 years of experience designing
processes, tooling and layout for multiple spindle screw
machines. Cad design experience is strong preferred.
The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelors
degree.
