Jr. Manufacturing Engineer

A global division of a large corporation continues to

company acquired two competitors recently and expanded
into two additional facilities. They have a philosophy

Our client is searching for a Jr. Manufacturing Engineer
to join their team. We are searching for a recently
degreed engineer. We are looking for engineers with 1 or
2 years of experience or candidates who served a co-op in
a machining environment. The Jr. Manufacturing Engineer
will need some basic exposure to machining processes.
Some training and the ability to interpret Gd&T and
technical drawings is needed. The Jr. Manufacturing
Engineer will need CAD experience and the ability to draw
components and process layouts. This engineer will
update process drawings, engineering changes, revisions
and engineering documents. Strong computer skills, MS
Office products, Solidworks and Autocad skills are
needed. The ideal candidate will have good technical
writing skills. Past training on the job or in college
in machining principles and methodology is strongly
preferred. The company will provide training and
employee development.

MUST HAVE: a Bachelor degree 1 to 2 years of experience
or served a co-op in a machining environment. Strong
computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new
software is needed. Candidates should have MS Office
products, Solidworks and Autocad software experience.
Some limited knowledge of CNC machining, lathes or mills
is preferred. The Jr. Manufacturing will need some
design experience creating CAD drawings of components,
products, fixturing or tooling.
