We are currently accepting resumes for an Advanced Ultrasonic Specialist:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Advanced Ultrasonic Specialist is considered the subject matter expert (SME) for all Modern and Advanced Ultrasonic Inspection Application methods.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

 Flawless demonstration of policies and procedures.
 Maintain an exceptional HSE record.
 Flawless adherence to company and client procedures and policies.
 Perform required NDE of inspection areas as directed.
 Identify inspection locations in accordance with written procedures.
 Document inspection findings appropriately for the given method.
 Create UT Sketches for documenting locations and inspection results and submit to Mistras Inspector or Mistras Crew Lead.
 Complete assigned inspections in a timely manner to ensure compliance with schedule.
 Immediately report equipment malfunctions/damage to supervisor and/or MTE.
 Perform all duties in accordance with applicable Mistras and clients safety requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 Able to certify to UT Level II, PAUT and TOFD Level II.
 Ability to pass a Rope Access Level I training course and become certified.
 Preference given to those with current Rope Access Level I Certification, and/or other NDE Certifications.
 Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
 Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Willingness and ability to routinely work overtime.
 Must adhere to all Mistras Health and Safety requirements.
 Must be adaptable in regards to changes in work environment, travel, and weather.
 Be able to successfully complete required North Slope training.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

 Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position with benefits. We are not seekingshort term contractors. You are responsible for travel costs to and from Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK.
