POSITION SUMMARY:
International Inspection Inc. has a Level II Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician position available located in San Diego, CA. The Level II NDT Technician is part of a team that provides testing and support to our wide range of clientele: Ultrasonic, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Visual Testing.

The team performs daily inspections at the various shipyards locally and internationally as well as class surveys such as: ABS, Lloyds, and DNV-GL, as well as pre-shipyard steel renewal assessments. The variety of work and client allows for an exciting career that changes almost every day and allows technicians to travel and see the world.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
NDT Technicians may work in confined spaces or be subject to heights. Must be comfortable in all working situations. Must be comfortable working in areas around machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes. Willing and able to travel and work varying schedules.

Skills:
LOCAL applicants with documented OJT strongly encouraged to apply. Individuals MUST have EXPERIENCE in Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Liquid Penetrant testing and Visual testing.

Strongly Preferred:
• Knowledge in MIL-Standard Inspection on Navy vessels.
• Experience gauging surveys to ABS standards.

Relocation expenses may be provided.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
NDT Technicians must be able to lift up to 50lbs of gear and materials, must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively.

ASNT/SNT-TC-1A Documented training
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record
NDT Classroom Training documented hours
