This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a solid background in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to take on the challenging role of NDT Technician Level II supporting our wheel and brake repair and overhaul facility in Bethlehem, PA. We service wheels and brakes for commercial airlines and the military that require multiple NDT Inspections: Eddy Current (ET), Fluorescent Magnetic Particle (MT), Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant (PT) and Ultrasonic (UT).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Under limited supervision, performs non-destructive tests on aircraft wheel and brake components in order to detect defects.
•Follows procedures, processes and inspection techniques using various equipment in order to complete tasks.
•Perform process controls, set up and calibrate equipment.
•Performs preventive maintenance on equipment, as required.
•Ensure proper tracking and documentation of activities and parts control is maintained.
•Key contributor towards Continuous Improvement and execution of Lean principles
•Must adhere to all quality and safety standards and demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
•Other duties may be assigned such as visual and/or dimensional inspections of wheels and brakes, visual and/or dimensional inspection of hardware, removal of worn tires, disassembly of wheels and brakes, paint strip and/or cleaning, chemical treatments, shot peening, assembly of components and or assisting in shipping or receiving.
Skills:
Qualifications
•Currently qualified or certified in accordance with the current revision of NAS-410 as a Level II in at least one of the following NDT methods: ET, MT, PT.
•Must be able to read and interpret technical data.
•Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment.
•Must display good communication skills, both written and oral, in the English language.

Education
•High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience
•Minimum of one year previous NDT experience.
•Experience in aviation component repair preferred.
