Currently looking for a skilled sales professional in the Chicago, IL area to fill an opening for a Technical Sales Representative with local and international reach. Interested candidates must have a proven sales track record and a mechanical or engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Be the driving force behind company growth by directly
increasing revenue through self-generated sales
• Manage prospects and clients throughout the entire
sales cycle
• Meet defined sales goals and expectations
• Learn the company products, services, business ethics,
policies, procedures, role and responsibilities of the
position to a point of confidence, competence and
effectiveness
• Develop sales goals and pipeline reporting for the
organization to include estimated timeline and close
probability
• Foster healthy, professional relationships with key
personnel at prospective and existing customer
companies
• Participate in industry associations and remain current
on industry trends, market activities and competitors
• Travel to meet with prospects and clients and to attend
industry meetings and conferences as appropriate


Skills:
Requirements:

• Must live in Chicagoland area
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Must have proven sales track record with significant
earnings record
• Only qualified candidates will be considered
• Bachelor’s degree
• Mechanical or Engineering background of 5 years +
• Prior sales territory management
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal
skills
• Strong computer skills and analytical thinking
