Position Summary

We have 6 openings for Nuclear work, must be able to gain access to a nuclear facilties.

2 for Augusta GA
2 for Savannah GA
2 for Raleigh NC


The Level II Technician will be performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Level II Technicians are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Level II Technicians are thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians. Level II Technicians organize and report results of NDT.
NDE Training, Experience and Education – Documentation Required:

1.) A minimum of three years of experience in weld inspection. This is required by ANSI N 45.2.6. This can include time as an assistant, level I, or level II in MT, PT, VT, RT, UT (shear wave – thickness does not qualify), or as a welder.
2.) Level II VT documentation in order to certify to Client’s VT written practice, including:
a. Documented formal classroom training of 24 hours. Must have training certificate or similar.
b. Minimum of 210 documented experience hours in visual inspection. MT, PT, RT, and UT shear wave DOES NOT count towards these hours.
c. Minimum of 400 total documented NDT experience hours. (MT, PT, RT, and UT shear wave count towards these hours)
3.) Level II PT documentation in order to certify to Client’s written practice, including:
a. Documented formal classroom training of 16 hours. Must have training certificate or similar.
b. Minimum of 210 documented experience hours in PT.
c. Minimum of 400 total documented NDT experience hours. (MT, PT, RT, and UT shear wave count towards these hours)
4.) NDE Certification summary (includes test scores and to which written practice certified)
5.) Current Vision Acuity results
6.) High School Diploma or GED – Actual documents need to be supplied and will be verified.

12.) Must not be subject to "extreme financial hardship" such as pending IRS recovery of back taxes, etc.
13.) Cannot have failed any FFD (Fitness For Duty) testing and cannot have been subjected to non-voluntary substance abuse treatment
14.) Minimum of 5 character references that can be contacted during normal working hours. (Ensure that phone numbers are current and the person is available – not working out of town or out of the country where they can’t be reached. Employee should contact all references prior to arriving at CLIENT.) These 5 references should be capable of generating 5 additional character references for the candidate that can be contacted during normal working hours. (Again, ensure that these references can be reached. Employee should contact these additional references prior to arriving at CLIENT.) The employee should have several extra references (that have already been verified and contacted) available as backups.
