Position Summary:
Applied Technical Services is currently looking for qualified Level II State Carded Radiographers to support our operations in Chesapeake, VA



Responsibilities:

◾Perform Source Radiography in the field.

◾Conduct Radiographic tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
◾Participate in ATS and Client safety programs
◾Travel to customer’s industrial or construction work sites
◾Complete reports and documentation as required.
◾Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
◾Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
◾Interpret radiographs
◾Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Skills:
Minimum Requirements:

◾Certified or Certifiable to Level II in RT (SNT-TC-1A)

◾State Card or IRRSP Card IS required.
◾Must be willing and able to work at heights, confined spaces, outdoors and in labs, manufacturing and industrial sites.
◾Must be willing and able to travel, work odd hours, work over time, work varying hours and a varying schedule.
◾Must have good communication skills and be computer literate.
◾Must be drug free and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Education and Experience:
◾High School Diploma or equivalent
◾Certified Level II RT (Gamma)
◾Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP) or applicable agreement state card
◾Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
◾Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
◾Knowledge of NDT equipment
