Manufacturing Manager

Located just outside of Greenville, North Carolina. We
are searching for a Manufacturing Manager. This is with
a division of a diversified large corporation and
publicly traded company. They offer possible career

wide range of water, gas, and fluid handling components.

We are searching for a Manufacturing Manager to oversee
their machining operation. This is a 3 shift production
machining operation. We are looking for a technical
manager with a basic or better understanding of cutting
tools. speeds & feeds, work holding devices and machining
methods. The manufacturing operation has a wide range of
machine tool processes. This includes CNC turning,
milling, broaching, threading, drilling, automatic screw
machines, dial, rotary and Trunnion type transfer
machines. The Manufacturing Manager will lead, guide,
direct and motivate shift supervisors, team leaders and
indirect associates. The Manufacturing Manager ensures
safety, quality, efficiencies and throughput. This
position leads maintenance associates ensuring the
performance and uptime of production equipment. The
Manufacturing Manager interacts closely with engineering
to implement new processes, machine tools, tooling and
fixturing. Interested candidates will need good
planning, project management and communication skills.
This division is well into their lean journey.
Candidates will need experience in Lean and 5-S
methodologies. The Manufacturing Manager plays a major
role helping to implement cost, quality, tooling,
efficiency and process improvements. Experience working
on set up, cycle time and tooling improvements is a plus.

MUST HAVE: 5 years of experience leading a production
machining operation or area along with a Bachelors
degree. Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma training is a plus.
Technical skills in machining methods, cutting tools and
work holding is needed.
