We are currently looking for a Product Manager for one of our portable equipment lines to join our group of highly-qualified engineers and technicians.
The main tasks of this position are:
Manage the entire product line life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by visits to customers and non-customers.
Participate in product promotion activities; preparation of sales materials, preparation and delivery of technical papers and presentations.
Perform customer support and training on the products.
Participate in product design.
This is a permanent, full-time position in Lynchburg, Virginia. Candidates are expected to live or move to the area.

Skills:
Qualified candidates must have (do not apply if you don't have all of them):
4-year Engineering degree or 2-year degree with significant experience.
Knowledge of the Non-Destructive Testing Market and Equipment.
Experience with complex electronic and computer equipment.
Good communication skills, written and verbal. Comfortable working with customers at all levels.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, ability to work with little supervision.
Hands-on, not afraid of getting the hands dirty to get the work done.
Knowledge of MS Office products.
Ability to travel as required.
Other desirable characteristics:
Experience with NDT equipment for in-service use.
Knowledge of power generation, oil & gas industries.
Sales and marketing experience.
MBA.
