We are currently seeking QA NDT Level II Technicians (NAVSEA)

Location: Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard, Kittery, ME

In this position, you will provide QA support for maintenance actions onboard Naval ships in compliance with NAVSEA Standard Items and all other contract requirements.

Working on Portsmouth Naval ship yard. Kittery, Maine. Minimum one year commitment.
START DATE: IMMEDIATELY !

Responsibilities:

Ensure all maintenance, planning, reporting and other activities comply with NAVSEA Standard Items #NSTP T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 and all other contractual requirements.

Skills:
◾Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Navy QA requirements
◾Must be Level II Certified MT, PT, VT. ◦Certifications must be in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, MIL-STD-2035A requirements for NDT methods.

◾Practical knowledge of quality assurance programs and quality control inspection systems
◾Working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items
◾Candidate must be able to walk, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, bend, stretch, reach, squat and twist
◾Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes.
◾Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
◾Able to perform other duties as required which may involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions, working aloft or over the sides of vessels.
◾May require wearing a respirator.
◾Must be willing and available to work 1st and 2nd Shift assignments as required
◾Must be able to obtain Rapid Gate Access Card
◾Must be able to obtain US Government Secret Clearance and pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening
