We are seeking a Branch Manager to join our team in Dover, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the administration, management, and all personnel in which he/she is assigned to.
· Instruct and train technicians according to the requirements of the QAP, QAM and NDT procedures necessary for each job. This includes training the technician on clearly defined general and specific responsibilities and authorities as it pertains to Intertek's QAP with an emphasis on identifying actual or potential quality problems and the initiation of remedial or preventive actions; documenting complete and accurate daily work reports; responding to customer satisfaction and acting with professionalism; required training and holding safety meetings; special skills, identifying new equipment or technology to improve quality; procedures and codes; calibrations and certification of equipment and materials; and SDS/MSDS references for chemicals used.
· Train the technicians in identifying, reporting, and documenting non-conformances, corrective action and preventive actions, as well as the awareness of follow up reports.
· Holds pre-job meeting with the technicians before each job to assure that they are working to the proper procedure, code specifications.
· Conducts regularly scheduled training and safety meetings to inform the technicians of revisions and changes to the QAP, QAM, NDT procedures, code requirements and radiation safety and industrial safety regulations.
· May perform field audits of technicians to determine the degree of compliance with QAP, QAM NDT procedures, code requirements, radiation safety and industrial safety regulations and customer specifications.
· Investigates non-conformances to determine the reasons for the non-conformances, meets with customers to develop corrective actions as necessary, and assures that the technicians perform the necessary actions to correct the non-conformance.
· Assists the QA/QC Manager in developing preventive measures to prevent re-occurrences.
· Records the results of all nonconformance investigations, corrective actions and preventive actions and reports to the QA/QC Manager and/or the President.
· Follows up the institution of corrective actions with investigation and discussions between the customer representative, the applicable technicians, and the QA/QC Manager to determine the effectiveness of the corrective actions, and provides a written report of the result of these investigations to the QA/QC Manager.
· Obtain supplies and equipment authorized for purchase from the Purchasing Department in accordance with the Intertek-QAM.
Skills:
Required Qualifications:

· Must be certified in at least 2 methods of NDT.
· Must be fully knowledgeable of all aspects of NDT.
· Must fully understand the responsibilities of radiation protection and industrial safety.
· Must be fully knowledgeable of all policies and procedures pertaining to Intertek.
· Have solid knowledge within occupational safety to include:
· 40 CFR
· 29 CFR 1910
· 26 CFR 1926
· Training OSHA 30 HR Construction and 30 HR General Industry
