Technical Requirements

Professional Science or Engineering discipline qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Materials, and 2 or more years of concentrated study in Inspection and Maintenance Systems (IMS)/NDE or equivalent.

Extensive technical and theoretical background, knowledge, experience in a broad range of IMS/NDE techniques.

Specific field and laboratory experience in several of Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Accoustic Emission Testing (AET), Advanced Radiographic Testing (RT) or others.

Working knowledge of basic generation plant design/operations related to more than one of CANDU Nuclear power plants, PWR/BWR Nuclear Power Plants, Fossil power plants, Hydro Power plants.

Practical working knowledge of the ASME Pressure Vessel Code
