The Business Development Manager for oil and gas will sell ANDT, Center or Excellence and Engineering concept without evergreen, lead with Value Added Sales Approach including service lines mentioned above that lead to stand alone sales and/or progress into evergreen account. The approach should yield higher margin sales and a strategy that differentiates us from our competition by driving large value savings to the clients.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Drive increased market share in refinery market in specific region
• Assess competitive landscape.
• Identify application for existing Mistras technology – for Services and Products and Systems divisions.
• Maintain responsibility for assigned customers.
• Territories covered – (Example) Western Region including Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Arizona
• Maintain visibility into all major refinery opportunities allowing the ability to coordinate and strategize with the Group Director, Power Generation and its team.
• Present the total Mistras portfolio of services and products but focus on Value Added opportunities driven through COE’s and Engineering support.
• Provide both sales and technical support in the form of customer presentations on site or via webcast.
• Identify new strategies on expanding value-based products and services business.
• Represent Mistras Group at trade shows, professional meetings, and industry forums.
• Develop Ideas within Oil and Gas Market. (what needs fixing)
• Continue to build relationships with executive level client influencers; communicate successes at local and regional client sites throughout the client’s organization; communicate best practices that have benefited a client’s facility to the client’s worldwide organization; be aware of all projects and communicate their status to the Mistras regional offices and sales teams.
• Present R&D technologies to provide the client an "inside advanced look" to show that we are providing excellent proactive customer service.
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels regarding use of products and/or implementation of services.
• 65-85% travel is expected.

• Train and develop new ideas for the division.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline or minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop senior level relationships.
• Knowledge of refinery work practices.
• NDT and Predictive Maintenance technologies a plus
• Proven ability to meet & exceed sales goals.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
