We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Inpection Scientist to assist us with our Eddy Current Inspection Systems development in Dayton, Ohio. This position is for our Information and Space Sector of Veridian.

As this Scientist, you will work with the Non-Destructive Engineering (NDE) team programming a 7-axis robot to inspect rotating engine components of military aircraft using Eddy Current Technology. Your responsibilities will also involve the development of new inspection routines and investigation of new NDE techniques.


Requirements:

BS degree in material science, physics, engineering, or related discipline

Practical work experience from job experience or thesis or senior research work

Experience with computers and computer programming

Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information


Preferred:

At least working toward Master's degree (progressed at least to working on thesis)

Familiarity with non-destructive evaluation technology

Knowledge of and/or experience using Eddy Current Technology is highly desired
