We are currently accepting resumes for a Crew Lead:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Crew Lead is considered the subject matter expert (SME) for the Inspection Program. They provide both direct and indirect supervision of assigned CIC Inspectors, and NDE Crews. The Crew Lead is responsible for completing the inspection plans to the highest levels of quality, safety, and efficiency.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Interact with client and contractor personnel to align schedule requirements with business needs.
• Perform or have performed by Inspector, a Walking Speed Survey of piping and generate required reports in assigned area of responsibility.
• Drive efficiencies in the inspection plan by promoting cross functional performance by all team members, including their own position.
• Create work packages for crew assignments.
• Identify inspection locations in accordance with written procedures.
• Performing walk-downs as required.
• Execute plans for completion of work assigned to facility area of responsibility.
• Assist as needed other Crew Leads in support of timely completion of all inspection programs.
• Report on KPI’s for area of responsibility to the Operations Manager.
• Submit and process or review others’ change sheet requests as needed for proper data alignment.
• Coordinate efforts of direct reports to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
• Mentor inspectors and NDE technicians in work processes and monitor performance.
• Flawless adherence to company and client procedures and policies.
• Ensure that Quality Control of assigned work is performed for all area of control.
• Lead the team by flawless demonstration of Company’s HSSE policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an API 570 certification or be able to obtain within one year.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Maximo.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• Self-directed and motivated – Able to work towards specific goals and objective with limited daily oversight.
• Minimum of 3 years inspection related experience and an understanding of NDT Inspection Methods (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT).
• Must have strong knowledge of Customers’ MIMIR database, Atlas GIS, and the EDDI drawing system or comparable systems.
• Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Having a strong knowledge of the North Slope work environment is strongly recommended.
• Valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors. You are responsible for travel costs to and from Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK.
