Intertek provides non-destructive testing (NDT), materials testing, and welding services for a diverse range of industries. We help our customers ensure the reliability and safety of their products, equipment, or plant assets with our world-class services in non-destructive testing (NDT), materials testing, and welding quality. We understand the processes involved throughout the entire product cycle – from design and manufacture to operation and maintenance - and the frequent need for rapid turnaround times. Our services can support production processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance as well as new construction, pipelines, plant maintenance and scheduled shutdown inspection.

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Corpus Christi.

Responsibilities:

· Heavy prospecting with confident cold calling skills.
· Generate sales opportunities in conjunction with product service lines.
· Provide technical selling skills and product knowledge in inspection and testing.
· Provide effective presentation of products and services offered.
· Develop annual sales plan in conjunction with Sales Directors, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
· Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.
· Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
· Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.
· Attend networking and tradeshows.
· Daily entry in CRM; activity/forecast/pipeline to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
· Travel as required to meet the requirements of the sales plan.
Skills:
Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience in related field.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Experienced in inspection and NDT practices is a plus.
