Creative Human Resources Concepts, LLC (CHRC) is currently recruiting for a temporary position located in Mesa, Arizona. This position is for approximately 4 months.

NDT Technician II

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position, per NAS 410, will have completed the required number of classroom hours and successfully passed the General, Specific, and Practical NDT Level II Technician exams for Radiography

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up parts to be inspected using X-Ray.
• Performs process control checks on NDT equipment.
• Prepares reports and forms detailing the findings of the performed inspections.
• Keeps precise records required for each NDT method and the daily operation of the department.
• Interfaces with and communicates the results of the performed inspections to other departments.
• Interprets test results for acceptance or rejection.
• Inputs daily entries into the Info Power system to keep track of X-Ray film usage.
• Uses the following equipment:
 X-Ray Machines – 160 KV to 420 KV
 X-Ray Film Processors

Skills:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 4 to 6 years of solid experience that is directly related to this role.
• Must have current certification for a Level II Radiographer per NAS 410.
• Complete and thorough knowledge of the job including understanding the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and solutions ordinarily encountered.
• Ability to read and interpret related documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and detailed procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence accurately along with the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, areas, circumference and volume. Also the knowledge of concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable situations where only limited standardization may exist.

TERM: Temporary Assignment (approx. 3 to 4 months)
HOURS: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon-Thurs & 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every other Friday
PAY RATE: $20.00/hr. (no per diem)
