Sky Testing Services, Inc. was formed to meet the growing needs of our clients. We provide full service NDT as well as QA/QC. We have relationships with engineers, mechanical contractors, utility providers and more, and we have the experience to meet the demands of many industries including gas distribution, power generation and commercial construction. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following position in Westbury, NY: Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Review procedures, purchasing documents, drawings, manufacturing travelers, process data, certifications for completeness and adequacy.
- Generate inspection method sheet for inspectors.
- Prepare and maintain quality assurance program plans in accordance with prescribe standards.
- Training, certification and performance reviews of NDT personnel.
- Participate in review and disposition of nonconforming materials.
- Perform and/or coordinate field inspections of installed components using advance inspection techniques (PAUT, ET, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field, or a minimum of five years of experience in the development and application of nondestructive test techniques, with emphasis on ultrasonic test techniques.
- Expected to attain ASNT UT Level III within one year of employment.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
