NDT Technician - Level II Certified - 913

Exotic Metals Forming Company (EMFCO) is an innovative leader and premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art, high temperature, high strength sheet metal fabrications for the aerospace industry. Located in the Kent Valley south of Seattle, our facility is totally integrated including manufacturing software, CAD/CAM, CNC machining, and laser technology.

We are currently recruiting for:

NDT Technician - Level II Certified - 913

Duties: Process aerospace sheet metal parts and interpret findings in accordance with EMFCO and customer procedure and specification requirements. Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensure any revisions to established techniques meet EMFCO and customer requirements. Detect faulty processes and provide input for their resolution. Evaluate the efficiency and the effectiveness of NDT methods and techniques and propose solutions to problems which impact productivity. Support the NDT Technician, Level III in revising established techniques and methods. Accurately document inspection findings. Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gages and other inspection devices.

Requirments: Must be ASNT Level II certified in FPI and X-ray inspection. Must be able to cross train into Radioscopic inspection and have the desire and ability to become ASNT Level III certified. Prefer prior experience working to aerospace standards. Must be able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints and sketches. Able to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions.
