Level II NDT candidates with a minimum of 2 years nondestructive testing experiencein one or more of the following methods is desired: UT, RT, MT, and PT, API 653/510/570, and/or AWS-Certified Welding Inspector certifications are a plus. Level I candidates with state card preferred.
Desired Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be dependable with a strong work ethic. Adaptable to changing schedules and hours. Willing to travel. Exceptional safety and quality awareness. Mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow directions and procedures. Willing to work as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Climbing and working at heights, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing for long periods, walking, pushing, pulling, heavy work and lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds, repetitive motion, visual acuity, working it confined spaces, working in extreme cold and heat, working long workdays of up to 16 consecutive hours in one day, and working near hazards including near moving mechanical parts, near electrical components, working at heights, and exposure to chemicals.
