Position: Field Service NDE Level II Phased Array
Classification: Full Time
Additional Responsibilities: Ability to travel extensively / Ability to work and not be affected by confined spaces or elevated heights; must be willing to relocate
Essential Functions
ASNT level II technician in Phased Array with experience in High Energy Piping, Welds
Provide technical support/consultation to clients
Execute visual inspection and NDE (PT, MT, UT & PAUT) of utility fossil fueled boiler pressure parts and auxiliary equipment
Compile inspection results and create recommendation reports; interact and present management inspection data and maintenance recommendations to plant engineers
Assistant to NDE Manager
Skills:
Job Requirements
2-year technical degree or equivalent in work related experience
Power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance, or boiler related experience preferred
Ability to work and not be affected by confined spaces or elevated heights above ground elevation
Ability to travel extensively
Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
Strong analytical ability, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn
Strong PC based computer skills (Word and Excel)
Familiarity with OmniScan
