Braun Intertec is growing the NDE Advanced Services Division and looking for a quality-minded individual who can assist with Phased Array UT business development as well as be the technical lead on PAUT projects in the San Antonio or Houston area(s).

Responsibilities:
-Perform inspection work in both field and shop settings
-Capable of developing technique and procedure when required
-Set-up and calibrate equipment
-Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications
-Perform phased array ultrasonics, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
-Works independently as crew lead on job sites
-Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures
-Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
-Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Experience:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Familiar with NDT equipment
-Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
-Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education in MT, PT, UT, PAUT
-Must have ASME/API code knowledge mandatory with fracture based mechanic inspections
-Must have familiarity with ASME Section VIII, B31.1, B31.3, in particular, fracture mechanics- based acceptance criteria
-National certifications preferred
-Level II UT Phased Array TOFD is a plus
-PMI, Hardness, other NDT methods a plus
