Excellent opportunity for recent graduate with conceptual knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing for employment in a manufacturing environment. Will study to immediately become Level Il certified and then work to become Level III certified within five years. Prefer metallurgical degree or other technical degree or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention for details and strong analytical skills. Must be willing to start out in a Quality Assurance technician position in a manufacturing environment inspecting welded aerospace sheet metal details and assemblies. Must be looking for a long term career opportunity.

DUTIES: Process parts and interpret findings in accordance with EMFCO and customer procedure and specification requirements. Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensure any revisions to established techniques meet EMFCO and customer requirements. Detect faulty processes and provide input for their resolution. Evaluate the efficiency and the effectiveness of NDT methods and techniques and propose solutions to problems which impact productivity. Support the NDT Technician, Level III in revising established techniques and methods. Accurately document inspection findings. Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gages and other inspection devices.
Skills:
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to become ASNT Level II certified in FPI and X-ray inspection. Must be able to cross train into Radioscopic inspection and become ASNT Level III certified. Must be able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints and sketches.
