Position Summary

2 API Inspector 510 570 to support Projects based out of Minden, LA

This individual will work closely with the customer to coordinate and schedule API projects as needed. In addition, this individual will work in conjunction with the Acuren Site supervisor to effectively maximize resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work in conjunction with Acuren Site Supervisor in the scheduling of equipment and personnel
* Weekly update to Acuren Site Supervisor of all issues
* Supervise and/or perform API inspection on projects
* Assist in coordination of cross training of existing API personnel
* Provide training to potential API candidates as needed
* Provide management with update on personnel qualification pertaining to API
* Perform review of all API reports
* Ensure timeliness of all API reporting

Responsibilities:
Perform project tasks related to the planning, execution and reporting of inspection activities for the mechanical integrity implementation of pressure equipment in various energy/chemical industries.
Perform inspections as required and prescribed by the appropriate in-service inspection code, jurisdictional requirements and customer specifications.
Monitor and audit associated NDE activities. Make recommendation of additional NDE requirements specific to credible damage mechanisms.


Requirements:
Current API 510/570 certifications required with 5 years minimum experience in a relevant energy/chemical industry.
Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in ASME and API requirements and procedures pertaining to the evaluation of in-service pressure equipment for continued serviceability.
Must be knowledgeable in midstream, gas processing, and NGL type processes and equipment.
Must be proficient in producing and quality evaluation of isometric piping sketches.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based storage solutions, and reporting in a tablet-based format.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The applicant will be able to utilize all Personal Protective Equipment designated by Acuren and client requirements.
The applicant must be able to access elevated structures.
Working knowledge of refining and petrochemical process and piping systems, as well as fixed equipment design and function
Windows platform through most recent Windows 10 release, Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred: Capstone RBMI, TMS, PCMS, DMAPS, and Meridium integrity and risk management reliability software platforms. AutoCad, Draftsight, Design Review, and Bluebeam drafting and markup tools
Development of inspection processes, techniques, forms
excel professionally in team environment or working independently
Must be able to work proficiently in various climates.
Must be willing to travel greater than 50% annually, per-diem will be offered.
Additional experience desired in the management of inspection, NDE and integrity data across multiple integrity and RBI based software platforms.
