Machinist Quality Control with Laser Tracker experience is an immediate need in our facility. You will be responsible for performing layout work on applicable measurement equipment using Faro laser inspection equipment.

Machinist Quality Control with Laser Tracker Responsibilities:
•Reads and interprets customer drawings and specifications and identify appropriate inspection methods.
•Interprets geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications.
•Performs 1st piece, last piece, and in-process inspection checks.
•Evaluates nonconforming material to determine final disposition.
•Provides support to Manufacturing Engineering and other business units.
•Uses laser tracker to align components to machine coordinates.
•Determines best fit for weldments to optimize machine stock.
Machinist Quality Control with Laser Tracker Required Skills and Education:
•Possesses effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing, to convey information.
•Computer literacy required to be able to prepare appropriate reports and documents. Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
•Working experience with FaroArm CMM.
•Experience reading and working with blueprints.
•Understanding of and the ability to use shop math.
•Attention to detail with a good understanding of dimensional measurements.

Machinist Quality Control with Laser Tracker Preferred Skills and Education:
Preferred backgrounds but not required includes:
•Experience performing inspection and alignment with Laser Trackers.
•CMM programming and operation.
•Mechanical Inspection of weldments and complex machined parts.
•CMS Certification.
Pay: $30-$40/hr
Schedule: 4-6 10-hour days/ week
