Applied Technical Services Inc. We are currently seeking a Fulltime API 653 required with API 510 desired in Charlotte, NC.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Performs field inspections of tanks, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
- Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
- Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
- Process improvement experience.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD
- Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment
- Other duties as assigned.

- Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience.
- Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.

- Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD
- Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must hold a current API 653 with API 510 desired.
- Candidate must be willing and very able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing and industrial sites.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate, work odd hours, work overtime, work varying hours and a varying schedule.
- Candidate must have good communication skills and will be computer literate.
- Candidate must be drug-free and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Local candidates preferred - Relocation near work site required. Relocation assistance potentially available.
