MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring RT/UTT NDE Level II Technicians for work in North Slope, AK.

The RT/UTT NDE Level II Technician will perform non-destructive testing of piping systems and fixed equipment primarily to detect corrosion/erosion. This position will assist in code work as needed but will primarily be performing thickness testing using CR/DR profile and UTT. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on followed by 21 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current level II Computed/Digital Radiography profile certification
Current Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Level II with 80 hours of formal training
Current IRRSP or state card
Current level I or higher Rope Access certification (IRATA or SPRAT)
CR Level II Code, UTSW, MT, PT Level II’s are all preferred
Ability to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawings
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to tolerate working in extreme climates (subzero temperatures) for extended periods of time
Must be comfortable working in cramped or confined spaces.
