Position Purpose:
* The main function of the Payroll Clerk is to support the Payroll Department by assisting with administrative duties, data entry for payroll preparation, data review and clean up, tax filing, audit reports, and special projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Data entry into payroll system (ADP Workforce Now v8, E-time), validating and review for accuracy.
* Process Travel and Expense reimbursements, with validation of accuracy.
* Verifying Timekeeping records and consults with employee and management about discrepancies
* Update employee banking, tax records and garnishment payments
* Process weekly payroll including manual check calculations, validation of payroll accuracy, and net pays.
* Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures
* Perform data clean up and integrity validation checks
* Perform other miscellaneous payroll administrative tasks.
* Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
* A minimum of 2+ years of administrative duties with payroll exposure
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required
* 2+ years of experience with ADP Products (E-time V6 or higher, Workforce Now v8, Kronos) is highly preferred.
* Experience working in a high performance Payroll Shared Service environment
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
