Position Purpose:
* The purpose of the Operations Manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities, while ensuring productivity and quality related to the daily operations of assigned locations. Responsible to drive sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of NDE strategies in both a safe environment and in compliance with company quality standards, policies, procedures, and expectations.
* Remote candidates may be considered. The Operations Manager will spend a minimum of one week per month in person at the New Hope office. Relocation is not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all operations for the service in for a specific location / region; this includes working with the Service Line Manager, Operations Manager, and other staff to ensure customer expectations are met at all times.
* Ensure that local service line delivery is on time, meets quality requirements and safely executed per the customer and the company's expectations.
* Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of field technicians and assistants; this includes providing technical support and knowledge to field crews and coordinating work activities with customer requests.
* Ensure Quality, Safety, and Operational policies are being adhered to; take corrective action when needed to address any deficiencies.
* Determine operational requirements including resources needed, training required, project scope and schedule; define and establish operational priorities; and achieve financial objectives for the specific location / region / service line.
* Conduct site visits (as required) for project start-ups, safety audits, performance audits and client relations.
* Review and forecast P&L with the Service Line Operations Manager, USA as it relates to the assigned locations within the region.
* Monitor performance ensuring financial, safety, quality and customer objectives are in line with the established initiatives.
* Ensure operational excellence by measuring key performance indicators such as client satisfaction, utilization and company goals.
* Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
* Review and monitor spending by tracking labor efficiency, costs, and other related items that impact profitability; initiate correct actions as required.
* Ensure compliance and maintenance of corporate practices such as forecasting, accruals and billing as required.
* Report any deficiencies in operational and service level non-conformances to the Service Line Manager.
* Consult with clients before, during and after project to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
* Must maintain a strong focus on cross functional teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally
* Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Bachelor's (BS/BA) in Business or other related discipline preferred.
* Requires ten plus (5+) years of project management and/or field supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Five (5) years of experience in inspection related activities in the service line required.
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required:
* Extensive practical/field experience required.
* Exprience with NDT Level II certification in 1 or more ANDT methods: TOFD, Phased Array, LPIT, Handyscan, Rotoscan, etc.
* Expereience with NDT Level II certification in at least 2 of 4 CNDT methods MT, PT, RT, UT; UT and MT preferred.
* Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
* Lean Certification preferred
* Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
