The purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to support all operational departments by assisting with ERP data entry, manpower planning and scheduling, project set-up and coordination requirements, qualification verification, and various other responsibilities to ensure successful project mobilization, staffing, demobilization, and project analysis reporting.
* This position can be remote (work from home), in the office, or a hybrid of the two dependant upon the candidate's home location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* The core function of the position is to coordinate, interpret, create, code, enter and maintain work orders into the ERP system (SAP). The coordinator will focus on the invoicing operations and the bulk of the ERP operations
*

Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of customer billing in compliance with contracts
*

Coordinate and assist all project set up request procedures a
ccording to the project reporting hierarchy requirements of both Project and Customer Management
*

Coordinate with billing department to keep updated records of financial transactions and customer account status, including project cost tracking and analysis at the operational level
*

Responsible for the weekly generation, recording, and updating of all project work order reports, including planned labor and consumable estimates, within the company project ERP system
*

Perform the ADP time entry and Concur expense review and project coding for all operational employees in preparation for manager approval, with absolute assurance over data submission and coding accuracy
* Assist Operations and Project Managers in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational and project management activities
* Assist Operations and Project Managers in manpower planning and staffing for all projects including the verification of personnel qualifications such as ce
rtifications and Operator Qualifications for client / project specific requirements
* Coordinate and assist all project set up request procedures according to the project reporting hierarchy requirements of both Project and Customer Management
* Responsible for the generation of project data analysis and profit & loss reports from the ERP system upon the request of management
* Coordinate all mobilization and demobilization activities including travel arrangements (via Concur) such as flight and vehicle bookings, visa requirements, and technician communications
* Reconcile travel expenses on the Houston Travel Credit Card (Concur)
* Coordinate the purchase request and recording for operational and/or project related purchases in the system
* Responsible for the complete and accurate tracking and reconciliation of project expenses and support in the system
* Tracking of all certifications including manager notifications for upcoming expiring certifications
* Maintain
electronic technician certification files including accurate and valid certifications and resumes
* Assist with the day to day management of all Operator Qualification Programs including data entry, client specific reports, and tracking of upcoming expiring qualifications
* Contact for field staff; assisting and supporting their inquiries and maintaining communication with them
* Present Operational staff with monthly expiring qualifications / certifications reports
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

* Minimum 3 years of applicable operational experience (in the non-destructive testing industry preferred)
* Minimum 2 years of applicable experience working in a project ERP system, and/or project planning and scheduling system
* Experience and overall understanding of the SNT-TC-1A Certification Program and other 3rd Party certification entities such as PCN and CGSB preferred
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related busi
ness course, preferred
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
* Must have working knowledge of ERP systems and/or Project Planning applications
* Understanding of project hierarchy system structure and related project profit and loss analysis
* Ability to data mine and apply root-cause analysis
* Detail orientated, and deadline driven
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to diverse groups of people
* Diligent and assertive, with good inter-personal skills
* Ability to effectively communicate ideas and suggestions professionally
