JOB DESCRIPTION: NDT III (X-RAY)

NDT Level III (X-Ray) – Current Certification Required
Experience: 5-7 Years Minimum in Aerospace Preferred
Client – Aerojet

Certified in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A/NAS-410/CP-189
Experience with the following disciplines:
Developing, qualifying, and approving procedures
Establishing and approving techniques, interpreting codes, standards, specifications, and procedures, as well as designating the particular NDT methods
Responsible for the NDT operations for which he/she are qualified and assigned and should be capable of interpreting and evaluating results in terms of existing codes, standards and specifications
Sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available
Should have a general familiarity with other appropriate NDT methods, as demonstrated by ASNT
As a certified Level III, should be capable of training and examining NDT Level I and II personnel for certification in those methods
