POSITION OVERVIEW: The Rope Access Level I Field Technician will be responsible and accountable for but not limited to performing inspections and rope access work on a variety of components in the refining, petrochemical, power and construction industries. Perform inspection, maintenance, and construction methods that suite your current technical skills.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
Perform Rope Access activities to the extent qualified in.
Perform tasks to the extent certified and qualified in.
Set-up and calibrate equipment.
Conduct tests in the basic NDT methods to the extent certified and qualified in.
Interpret, evaluate and document results through formal reports.
Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel in the method(s) in which certified and capable of.
Work under the supervision of Level II or Level III
Provide direction and guidance with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.
Effectively communicates with customers and coworkers.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Willingness to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Experience in refining, petrochemical, power or construction industries.
Participates in required training, rope access certification sessions.
CERTIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Rope Access SPRAT/IRATA Certification.
Documented hours required to certify in all basic NDT methods as mentioned above.
Willingness to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Experience in refining, petrochemical, power or construction industries.
Participates in required training, rope access certification sessions.
