Job Description/Duties:
Develops an intimate knowledge of inspection systems used within NDT.
Develops upgrades and improvements to current inspection equipment through instrumentation, software, and database programming.
Addresses production concerns in a timely manner.
Prepares operating procedures, drawings, software specifications, functional specifications, test plans, and forms necessary to support shop floor operations.
Prepares customer submittals to transmit information and plans on new systems or system upgrades.
Authors reports documenting process/material testing and well-engineered solutions to problems.
Interacts with customers to promote good working relationships and understandings of customer requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Software or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Must possess at least two (2) years of experience in NDT Systems.
Prior experience programming production systems is required.
Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required.
Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
