Summary: ATS is seeking a fulltime API 653 with API 510 &/or 570 to support our Shreveport, AL office. Ideal candidate needs to be based out of Shreveport, LA but can reside in eastern Texas to cover work in OK, TX and LA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
Process improvement experience.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD.
Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Current API 653 (required) &/or API 510 &/or API 570.
Additional NDT Certifications are desirable but not required.
Must be willing and able to work in Shreveport, LA. - OR- located in eastern Texas.
This role would be for someone knowledgeable within the Pulp and Paper Industry. Additional NDT certifications are a plus.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
