We are seeking a permanent experienced Level II UT/RT that has the ability to become an NDT Level III UT/RT and an NDT instructor to support our Marietta/Atlanta, GA office. Relocation assistance possible.
We are seeking a permanent experienced Level II UT/RT that has the ability to become an NDT Level III UT/RT and an NDT instructor to support our Marietta/Atlanta, GA office. Relocation assistance possible.
Skills:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and pass ASNT Level III UT and RT in 6 months after hired.
- ATS will provide all refresher training and facilitate exams at no cost to employee.
- Prepare and conduct UT and RT training at Marietta and ATS field offices.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to accomplish the training.
- Flexible schedule
- Work independently and support team members.
- Remain current on UT and RT inspection techniques and available equipment to provide effective and relevant training.
Requirements:
- Level II UT/RT able to certify to Level III per ASNT in UT/RT in 6 months
- Strong experience with PAUT and RT/DR/CR and a desire to become an NDT Instructor
- Instructor experience required (technical and/or NDT preferred)
- Other certifications are a plus but not required
- Technical Background in NDT methods and procedures
- Knowledge of equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- MUST BE US Citizen
- Willing to relocate to Marietta, GA or live within reasonable commutable distance to Marietta, GA.
