Position Overview
The responsible NDT Level 3 works with the Engineering and Quality departments as well as the Customer in developing written job instructions, data cards and techniques for processing both Aerospace and non-Aerospace metallic parts and assemblies. The NDT Level works with all internal Level 2 Inspectors providing training and guidance on a daily basis.

Essential Job Functions
• Develops written Job instructions for both FPI and CRT.
• Works with external Customer in obtaining approval of all Job Instructions and data card techniques.
• Works with internal level 2’s in developing parameter techniques for a variety of configured product.
• Reads and analyzes processed parts and images to established acceptance criteria established by numerous customer requirements.
• Maintains certification of all internal level 2’s.

Skills:
Requirements
• NAS410 Certified Level 3 in both FPI and CRT
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodical, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and written or oral instructions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Additional Requirements
• Adhere to rules and regulations of a FAA Safety Sensitive Position.
• Certification records for Level 3 status of CRT and FPI for 5 years minimum.
• Ability to attend a CRT training class.
