Job Responsibilities: Level II UT Technician Team Member’s support ND Testing, Inc.’s organization by safely operating NDT equipment, tooling and performing Ultrasonic immersion/contact inspecting on various metals and/or customer products.

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
Inspect per process procedures, specifications, and standards requirements
Interpret and/or evaluate inspection results
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
Organize and report test results
Perform specialized inspections
May instruct and supervise others
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Team Member reports to the Production Manager

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified NAS 410 UT Level I or Level II, (additional certifications a plus)
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
Knowledge of NDT equipment
Clean driving record
Pass background check, drug test, pre-employment physical
Work variable hours, including weekends if needed
Regular lifting of, but not limited, to 50 lbs. or more* (*mechanical assistance)
