MISTRAS Group is seeking a Ropes II/Level II RT/CR/DR Technician with 3T state card for a fulltime ART Crawler Operator position at our La Porte, TX location!
ART CRAWLER OPERATOR
Position Summary:
The Automated RT Crawler Operator will operate the automated robotic radiography crawlers on piping systems looking for internal and external corrosion.
The work schedule 5 days a week. Daily work shifts will be 10-12 hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Level II Computed/Digital Radiography certification
Experience in interpreting RT images and reporting findings.
Current IRRSP or state card
Ability to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawings
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid drivers license
Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid Drivers License
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Preferred Experience/ Skills:
Ability to complete in-field robotic technology inspections and troubleshooting systems
Competency with electronic systems, GPS systems, strong computer skills
Competency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
Proficiency interpreting digital radiographic image
IRATA/SPRAT Rope Access Level I/II certification (or the ability to attain)
Working Conditions:
Field duties require outdoor work with varying weather conditions.
Interaction with other crew employees, Remote SME as well as supervisors and client personnel.
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
