MISTRAS Group is seeking a Ropes III for a fulltime position at our La Porte, TX location!
ROPE ACCESS LEVEL III TECHNICIAN
Position Summary:
The Rope Access Level III will use Industrial Rope Access methods and related equipment to access and complete a wide variety of inspection and other industrial work tasks on piping circuits while on ropes or in difficult access areas. Assist ART Crawler Operator operating the automated robotic radiography crawlers on piping systems looking for internal and external corrosion.
The work schedule 5 days a week. Daily work shifts will be 10-12 hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 18 years of age
IRATA/ Sprat Level 3 certification
Must have a capacity for work at height
Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
Valid Drivers License
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Working Conditions:
Field duties require outdoor work with varying weather conditions.
Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
