KTA is looking for an advanced UT Technician to perform work in the heavy steel, marine, and wind industry. Our ideal candidate must be willing to travel with the following qualifications:

-NDT certifications: UT - required; MT, VT, and PT - preferred
-Strong understanding of the Distance Amplitude Correction (DAC) Curve
-DNV Certified - preferred
-AWS CWI - preferred
-High School Diploma/GED equivalent
-Good oral and written communication and decision-making skills
-Detail and customer oriented with excellent work ethic
-Reliable Transportation and valid driver’s license
-Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to navigate the internet

Physical Requirements:
-Close, color, distance, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus;
-Ability to travel, when necessary, and ability to work outside (including inclement weather);
-Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain.
