United Dynamics Advanced Technologies Corporation (UDC) is looking to fill a position in our NDE Department. As a UDC ASNT / NDT Level III Tech, you would be coordinating with our employees who travel to power plants across the country to execute NDE (PT, MT, & UT) inspections and diagnostics on fossil-fueled boiler units, pressure parts and auxiliary equipment.

As a UDC Level III Tech, you will provide technical support and training to UDC employees to maintain MT, PT and UT certifications. The Level III Tech will also create and maintain written practices and procedures for MT, PT, UT, Replications and LPA. Additionally, you will recommend maintenance, repairs, analysis and advise on speculated root-cause and corrective action solutions from inspection results.

During your tenure with the UDC NDE Department, you will also work closely with our Field Services, Aerobotics and HRSG Divisions to coordinate inspection schedules and provide input and expertise on job bids, customer contracts and internal processes. Some travel may be requested to power plants for on-site inspections, so flexibility is preferred. UDC covers all travel expenses and provides daily allowances for Meals & Incidentals.

Qualified Candidates will have ASNT NDE Level III experience in MT, PT and UT; strong analytical ability, mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and teach; strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Database-related programs, image editing software); leadership / management experience; with 2-5 years of power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance or boiler inspection preferred. Phased Array / EPRI Certification is a strong advantage.

Overtime will fluctuate during peak season (Spring and Fall) and will be paid on anything over 40 hours per week. Salaried personnel enjoy a generous benefit package including Health, Life, Vision and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and a Company-Match IRA. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Ideal candidate would reside in the Louisville, KY area or be willing to relocate within one year. Relocation assistance may be available.

Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check for consideration. If interested, check out our website at https://www.udc.net/ for more details on this and other open positions, or call our office to inquire about our interview availability.
