Position Overview
The purpose of the Quality Assurance/Control Technician 2 is to support Operations by ensuring quality policies, procedures, and expectations are practiced throughout inspections performed, delivering a quality product to the customer.
* Area of expertise: Soils, and Concrete inspection and testing, familiar with an NQA-1 Quality Program
The main duties include:
* Analyze, audit, and review data, and other materials to determine quality of inspection completed.
* Notify supervisors and other personnel of quality problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these concerns.
* Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.

The target pay range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour. Pay range for this job level is a general guideline only for States that enforces pay transparency and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, certifications, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Education and Work Experience
* Bachelor's Degree
* Background in handling inspections related to: Soils, and Concrete inspection and testing, familiar with an NQA-1 Quality Program
* Seven years' of field experience
* Five years' experience in QAQC
* Three years' experience in Supervisory role required
* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Certificates and Licenses Required
* Certification as an Inspector required: ACI, NICET Etc.(or equivalent approved by client). Extensive practical experience required.
* Must have the ability to meet the following company certification standards: ACI, NICET, AASHO Methods (concrete, soils etc.)
* Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
