Summary: ATS is seeking NDT Level III Tech with FPI experience per NAS-410 to support our HQ in Marietta, GA.  Work will be performed in Milford, NH. This is a full-time on-site role for a Responsible PT Level III / Aerospace Castings professional located in Milford, NH for a long-time customer.  Travel and Per Diem available for this long term assignment. 

Responsibilities/Duties: NDT Level III Technicians

The day-to-day tasks associated with this role include performing hands-on inspections of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
Proctoring exams, certifying technicians, annual currency reviews, overseeing NADCAP and internal related audits, developing PT procedures, PT personnel oversight, mentoring, and certifications for aerospace castings. The professional will use their expertise in casting, metallurgy, metal casting, die casting, and photography to ensure the quality and reliability of the castings.
Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees
Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations.   
Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations.
Work independently and support team members Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors.
Skills:
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Level III FPI – Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level III PT Technician per NAS-410; provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s); have a working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to report issues and solve problems.
Casting, Metallurgy, and Metal Casting skills
Die Casting and Photography skills
Experience in performing inspections and tests for aerospace castings
Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience with NADCAP, A2LA Accredited, ISO9001, and ISO 1725 is a plus
Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
Castings inspection experience with FPI
Additional NDT certs are a plus.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Work Conditions:

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc. 
Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc. 
Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. 
Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
