NIC is currently seeking a Level II NDT Technicians for a long term contract located in the Tucson AZ area.
This will be for a minimum of a 1-year contract and guarantee of 40 hours per week, with a very high possibility to work as much OT as Possible.
Excellent opportunity to work for one of the largest aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, storage and reclamation operations world wide.
Job Description: Perform NAS-410 Level II Inspections in MT/PT/UT and ET on commercial airframes.
Requirements:
- MUST be certified level II in MT/PT/UT and Surface ET per NAS-410
- MUST have a minimum of 18 months of Commercial Aerospace Inspection Experience.
- Airframe and Powerplant license preferred, but NOT required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US (US Citizenship)
Education/Training:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Classroom training hours in applicable NDT method certifications held, meeting or exceeding the requirements of NAS-410
- Experience Hour in all applicable NDT methods held
