Performs non-destructive testing and inspection to verify that the product meets requirements.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Reads and interprets blueprints.
2. Fully knowledgeable and qualified to use methods outlined in procedures, MIL-STD-410, and customer specifications.
3. Conveys verbally and/or in writing, the condition of the parts being inspected.
4. Interprets and applies required NDT notes on blueprints used in manufacturing of parts.
5. Applies Quality Assurance Procedures.
6. Performs administrative duties to maintain complete and accurate records.
7. Maintains NDT area for safety and cleanliness.
8. Responsible for maintaining system to ensure commitment meets workload.
9. Performs related department duties as assigned.

Skills:
High School Graduate. Hold Level I, II, or III certification in applicable area of test. Recognizes defects and handles disposition.
