Acuren Inspection is seeking Rope Access Coatings Specialists to support our region, with projects currently based in the Bellingham, Washington and Jamestown, North Dakota areas.

The Rope Access Coatings Specialist are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

We're looking for Rope Access Coatings Specialists who are ready to hit the road! The right candidates will be open to travel across the U.S. West region to support a variety of exciting projects. IRATA/SPRAT III preferred, will accept other levels. NCCER A PLUS

Type of work:

Callout work in Bellingham, WA and Jamestown, ND performing coating remediations via rope access (Stacks, wharf, pipeline spans)

Projected Start Date: May 21, 2025



Perdiem pay when traveling



Responsibilities
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Skills:
IRATA/SPRAT III preferred, will accept other levels.
NCCER A PLUS
A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
Current first aid certification
A valid drivers' license is preferred
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
