The Level II NDE Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:


Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Document test results, including writing reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections.

Collaborate with management to assure that testing procedures are meeting project requirements.

Manage long term projects effectively and professionally by communicating with customer/client representatives and management to effectively meet established deadlines.

Participate in training programs to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in NDE testing.

Responsible for guidance and on-the-job training of trainees and assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures, and the company's written practice.

Perform additional NDE service methods like RT.

Must be able and willing to travel in the event support is needed in other regions.
Skills:
Required

Current or previously certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A Level II MT, PT and UTT methods.

Strong with applicable welding codes, i.e. ASME, API, AWS, etc.

List of projects managed as a Level II NDE Technician.

Education history.

Valid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations.

Able to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program.

Required to pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.

Required to pass Level II testing methods upon hire to perform job duties.

Preferred

SNT-TC-1A/ACCP Level II RT Certifications, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of RT.

High School Diploma, GED, and/or advanced education.
